accelerating, they are putting an increased focus on inventory
controls and financial accuracy. To support this effort, they are
seeking a strategic and hands-on Inventory Accounting Manager to
take full ownership of their inventory processes across both
digital platforms and physical operations. Role Overview: The
Inventory Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the
accounting and financial implications of inventory
activities-covering raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), prepaid
inventory, and finished goods. This role plays a key part in
ensuring accurate reporting, valuation, and reconciliation of
inventory across multiple systems and warehouse environments. Key
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the complete inventory accounting
function as the company's Inventory Accounting Manager. Own the
digital and physical inventory count processes, ensuring proper
reconciliation and reporting. Monitor and manage inventory held
with 3PL providers, including multimillion-dollar accounts with key
customers. Analyze and report on inventory movement, including raw
materials, prepaid inventory, and finished products. Work closely
with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate entries and
cost allocations in accordance with GAAP. Serve as the subject
matter expert for inventory transactions within the ERP system.
Develop internal controls and procedures to improve inventory
accuracy and reduce financial risk. Qualifications: 5 years of
inventory accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience reconciling physical inventory with digital
systems. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation,
and the financial impact of inventory transactions. Familiarity
with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required. Excellent
analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated
ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and continuous
