Job Description:
UCHealth, a Colorado-based leading nonprofit healthcare system,
is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical
Progressive Care Unit Fellowship. This program is designed for RNs
who wish to specialize in progressive care. The selected candidates
will benefit from exhaustive, specialized training aimed at
providing exceptional patient-centered care in our high-acuity
units. This opportunity is ideal for nurses looking to advance
their careers in a supportive environment committed to improving
patient lives and community health. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient health and progress
while preparing and applying care plans. Administer medications,
perform routine procedures, and operate medical equipment. Record
patient’s medical information and vital signs, modify care plans in
conjunction with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and
health maintenance. Participate in the training program, attending
all workshops, and adhere to the guidelines set by the fellowship.
Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to work
effectively in a high-pressure environment Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic healthcare
management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of
Colorado or eligibility to obtain before date of hire BLS/CPR
certification from the AHA or Red Cross ACLS certification
preferred
