System One is currently seeking a Survey Technician on an 11 month contract position located in Denver, CO.

Survey Tech Responsibilities: Drive the AMLD-equipped vehicles to survey designated areas of the natural gas system.
Drivers will follow specific maps provided by company to ensure comprehensive coverage of the survey areas.
Surveys must be conducted after dark to obtain better readings of potential gas leaks.
Drivers will collect the vehicles from the nearest Service Center.
They will turn on the equipment, drive to the mapped area, and conduct the survey.
The primary task is to collect data; no technical analysis is required from the drivers.
After completing the survey, drivers will return the vehicles to the service center and plug them in to charge.
In case of an alarm indicating a significant leak, drivers must stop and contact the gas dispatch team, who will handle the situation.
Available 24/7 to respond to any critical alarms.
Accurate and thorough data collection during each survey run.
Immediate reporting of any alarms to the gas dispatch team.
Ensuring vehicles are returned to the service center and properly charged after each shift.


Survey Tech Requirements: Preference is given to candidates with experience in delivery driving jobs, such as those with Amazon, UPS, or USPS.
Familiarity with following routes and maps is essential.
Ability to follow maps and navigate delivery areas effectively.
Experience using navigation software like Google Maps or Apple Maps is beneficial, as it is like the Picaro software used in this role.
Experience using tablets and specific software applications, including Picaro, AMLD leak survey software, and PQ software.
The role involves using a tablet equipped with these tools to conduct surveys.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and security clearance.
While not mandatory, familiarity with driving around the Denver metro area, particularly starting in the Arvada area, is a plus.
Candidates must be strong communicators and be keen with problem solving and highly collaborative.
