Department: Radiology MR Scan

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a (MR) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 3 years of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

      • Facilitates regulatory and organizational compliance. Implements protocols on scanning equipment (may include specific modalities) to maintain image management and quality while achieving low radiation dose where applicable.
      • Performs radiology scans; obtains patient history, explains procedures and does scheduling. Maintains training and staff competencies to meet quality and regulatory requirements. Monitors ongoing training. Completes special projects to implement solutions for clinical operations.
      • Participates in reviewing policies and guidelines. Creates patient care forms. Recommends opportunities for performance improvement.
      • Provides reports from clinical databases. Provides interpretation of data for physicians and staff.
      • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
