proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to lead our
inventory operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining
optimal inventory levels, enhancing accuracy, and improving
efficiency across our supply chain. The ideal candidate combines
strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in inventory
systems and a passion for operational excellence. Key
Responsibilities: Oversee daily inventory operations, including the
receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and products.
Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct regular cycle counts
and annual physical inventories. Monitor inventory levels, track
reorder points, and prevent overstock or stockouts. Collaborate
with purchasing, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and
plan inventory needs. Investigate inventory discrepancies and
implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity. Develop
and enforce inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and
reduce shrinkage. Leverage inventory management systems (e.g.,
NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) to manage and report inventory data.
Supervise and train warehouse or inventory personnel as needed.
Ensure all inventory activities comply with health and safety
regulations. Prepare and deliver accurate inventory reports for
internal stakeholders and management. Qualifications: Bachelor's
degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field-or
equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in
inventory management, supply chain, or logistics. Proficient in
inventory software and ERP systems. Strong organizational,
analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Effective communicator
with keen attention to detail. Self-motivated and capable of
working independently or collaboratively. Forklift certification a
plus (may be required depending on industry). Preferred
Qualifications: Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as
NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle. Background in [insert industry: e.g.,
manufacturing, retail, construction]. Lean, Six Sigma, or similar
continuous improvement certification.
