Job Description Job Description We are looking for a motivated
and skilled Technical Lead to join a client in the environmental
space. In this role, you will combine hands-on development
expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing a small team
of developers and driving technical projects forward. This is an
exciting opportunity to contribute to emergency response software
solutions while mentoring and guiding team members in a
collaborative environment. This role can sit primarily remote. The
team goes into the office in Marlborough, MA twice a month.
Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing
mentorship and guidance to support their growth and development. •
Oversee the planning and execution of development sprints, ensuring
projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. • Engage
in hands-on development using technologies such as JavaScript,
TypeScript, Vue.js, and MongoDB. • Collaborate with senior staff
and product teams to define project goals and technical
requirements. • Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including
AWS integrations and automation tools. • Design and enhance
dashboards and analytics tools to support emergency response
solutions. • Coordinate with stakeholders to address client needs
and ensure software aligns with business objectives. • Troubleshoot
and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the stability and
scalability of applications. • Participate in strategic planning
sessions, providing insights to shape the team's direction and
growth. • Build and foster a culture of innovation and
collaboration within the development team. • A minimum of 7 years
of experience in software development, with full-stack expertise. •
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as
Vue.js. • Hands-on experience with backend technologies, including
MongoDB and MySQL. • Strong understanding of DevOps practices,
tools, and AWS integrations. • Proven ability to lead and manage
technical teams, including project planning and task delegation. •
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex
technical challenges. • Effective communication skills to
collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • Familiarity with
environmental claims management or emergency response software is a
plus.
