Data Architecture This position requires extensive knowledge and
experience designing and delivering the data architecture and data
strategy for a Fortune 500 organization. This role will directly
partner with Business Leaders, Data Intelligence, and Solutions
Architects that are responsible for innovative solutions and
operational support. Job Details: As the Sr. Director of Enterprise
Data Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the
future of our digital workplace. The role is a senior member of the
IT Leadership team and works closely with business unit leadership
and key personnel to identify and prioritize key initiatives. The
role involves collaborating with business, stakeholders to
understand data needs, creating long-term data strategies, and
leading cross-functional project teams to deliver solutions that
drive efficiency and data alignment for improved decision making.
The Sr. Director is expected to be an effective communicator,
collaborator and change agent and possess the appropriate business
process and technology acumen to meet or exceed the needs of the
company. Responsibilities : Design, build and manage an Enterprise
Data Architecture program that operates as an internal leadership
consultancy, delivering Enterprise Data Architecture with services
that advance the business. Champion data architecture initiatives,
and data culture to drive improvement, flexibility, adaptability
and the evolution of data as a service across the enterprise. Leads
the analysis of operating models, market trends and the technology
industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprise’s
business strategy, direction, and architecture. Develop business
cases and ROI analyses for data initiatives, presenting strategic
recommendations to the executive leadership team to secure funding
for new investments, upgrades, and expanded capabilities that align
with organizational objectives. Design and implement enterprise
data frameworks that support automation, AI, machine learning, and
advanced analytics. Ensure high availability, reliability, and
efficiency of data & analytics systems. Oversee the integration of
data platforms and APIs to ensure data consistency across systems.
Provides perspective on the readiness of the organization to change
and innovate through scenario planning techniques and supports
formulation of business strategy. Translates and guides execution
of business strategy to achieve the organization’s targeted
business outcomes by leading the development of an implementation
roadmap for the enterprise architecture. Engage business and IT
stakeholders, building relationships while communicating the value
of EA and its portfolio of services to create a data driven
culture. Collaborate and evaluate enterprise business initiatives,
providing support with a security first approach to align business
processes with security standards, policies, and guidelines.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with multiple
levels of leadership, focused on change management, business impact
and supporting metrics to drive collaborative efforts. Adhere to
established internal procedures, policies and guidelines with the
ability to document using ITIL and ISO complaint formats. Minimum
Requirements: Must be a US Citizen. Ability to obtain a DoD
security clearance at the Secret level. BS in technical field, or
equivalent experience, MS or MBA preferred. 7 years of experience
leading Enterprise Data Architecture at a Director level. 12 years
of experience in data architecture/engineering role for large scale
enterprise class data platform. Platform & Tool Experience:
Proficiency with platforms and tools such as SAP, AWS, Salesforce,
Workday, WebMethods, MuleSoft, Trino/Starburst, Palantir Foundry,
Power BI, etc. Cloud Expertise: Minimum of 7 years of experience
with AWS (certifications preferred). At least 10 years of
experience with cloud platforms in general. Technical Proficiency:
5 years of hands-on coding experience with Python and SQL. 7 years
of experience in data management or data architecture. Data
Landscape Navigation: Experience navigating multi-environment,
fragmented data landscapes. Data Sensitivity Handling: Familiarity
with handling higher data classifications and sensitivity,
including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) data. Data Systems
Expertise: Experience with structured data systems such as Oracle
and PostgreSQL Experience with semi-structured and unstructured
data systems, including data lakes and lake houses. Big Data
Technologies: Proficiency in utilizing unstructured and
semi-structured data at scale with big data technologies. Knowledge
of AI/ML frameworks and data governance best practices. Specialized
knowledge in security programs supporting NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP and
CMMC. Demonstrated leadership in planning/delivering technology
projects/services in a Fortune 500 enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of Enterprise Data
Architecture and Data Intelligence Operations Security
Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, SSCP, OSCP, etc.
Experience with Standard Enterprise Asset Management
policies/procedures Experience in Enterprise Architecture Tools,
Standards, Policies and Procedures Outstanding oral and written
communication skills Ability to establish collaborative teams with
team members across multiple business units. In support of pay

the salary range provided below and is determined based on
job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience,
qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and
market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary
experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the
position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay
range. ? The base pay for this position within Colorado is:
$173,000.00 - $287,000.00 annually. ? The base pay for this
position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is:
$190,000.00 - $316,000.00 annually. For all other states, we use
geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven
ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may
