NetSuite Planning & Budgeting Implementation Consultant (Part-Time, Hybrid) Location: Hybrid (Front Range, Colorado) Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours Work Environment: Business casual, warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth About the Role We're seeking an experienced NetSuite Planning & Budgeting Implementation Consultant to support the build-out and optimization of NetSuite's Planning and Budgeting module for a local, collaborative team. This is a part-time, project-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible environment, enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, and is comfortable taking ownership of their work from day one. In this NetSuite Planning & Budgeting Implementation Consultant role, you'll partner with department heads, our NetSuite administrator, and the finance/accounting team to enhance budgeting processes and connect operational templates back into the financial system. You'll also play a key part in building assumptions and income statement rollups, while helping the team make the most of NetSuite's planning tools. Key NetSuite Planning & Budgeting Implementation Consultant Responsibilities Build Budgeting Structure & Revenue Assumptions (40%) Develop and implement assumptions and capabilities within NetSuite's Planning and Budgeting module Ensure revenue assumptions are dynamic and align with overall financial models Develop Operational Templates (30%) Create simple, functional Excel templates for department leads Design templates to plug back into NetSuite and align with broader budget goals Roll-Up into Financial Statements (20%) Integrate departmental inputs and assumptions into the income statement Help define and automate key financial and operational metrics Stakeholder Training & System Optimization (10%) Educate stakeholders on how budgeting data rolls into accounting outputs Partner with department heads and NetSuite administrator to enhance system workflows What We're Looking For Must-Have NetSuite Planning & Budgeting Implementation Consultant Qualifications: Demonstrated experience implementing or enhancing NetSuite's Planning and Budgeting module Proven ability to build bottom-up budgets in a collaborative, department-driven environment High degree of comfort working independently and driving conversations with department leads Strong understanding of how planning inputs roll up into financial statements Ability to create Excel templates that are clean, easy to use, and integrate with NetSuite Must be local to the Front Range, Colorado , and able to be onsite as needed (especially early in the project) Nice-to-Have (Pluses): Previous experience partnering with NetSuite admins on module enhancements Familiarity with department-level budget education or change management Work Environment & Culture Our client's team is warm, collaborative, and relaxed.
