Details - 12-hour shifts with weekend availability required - 36 hours per week - Acute care hospital setting - Performs a full range of diagnostic CT procedures using ionizing radiation - Epic EMR used for charting Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in an acute care hospital setting - Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required - BLS certification required (AHA only, must not expire prior to start date) - Active state license required if applicable — no pending licenses accepted - DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration - Proficiency with CT equipment, imaging protocols, and contrast administration including injector operation - Familiarity with sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning - Proficiency with electronic imaging — ability to view, transfer, and manipulate images - Fluoroscopy certification required for candidates working in the state of Colorado Additional Information - Performs CT exams per department protocol, reviews images for quality and accuracy, and ensures all necessary anatomical structures are captured - Administers contrast media as ordered and provides patient education on contrast safety - Adheres to radiation safety guidelines — radiation badge required and provided - Maintains accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions - Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols and positioning - Former permanent staff must have been separated from any facility in this health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-689827.
