Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services for travel assignments in Commerce City, CO. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential therapeutic support to students in a dynamic educational environment, helping them achieve their developmental and academic goals. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to school settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Facilitate therapeutic interventions that enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school regulations Provide consultation and training to school staff on occupational therapy strategies Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students in a travel assignment setting Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Colorado or eligibility for licensure Experience working as an OT in school environments Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and maintain flexibility during travel assignments Commitment to improving student outcomes through creative and evidence-based therapeutic techniques Location:This position requires travel to various school sites in Commerce City, Colorado, providing a rewarding experience in diverse educational settings.
