Job Description:
UCHealth seeks a dedicated and skilled RN to join our Hepatology
Practice team. Based in our progressive Colorado healthcare system,
this role focuses on providing top-tier nursing care to patients
with liver-related diseases. The successful candidate will work
closely with hepatologists to implement patient care plans, monitor
patient progress, and participate in both patient and family
education efforts. This position requires a compassionate approach
and a strong commitment to patient-centered care in a dynamic and
supportive environment. Assess, plan, and administer nursing care
to hepatology patients in accordance with physician orders and
nursing protocols. Participate in patient diagnosis and treatment
plans. Educate patients and their families on disease processes,
medications, and lifestyle adjustments. Record patients' medical
histories and symptoms, administer medication, and establish
patient care plans. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes
in patients' conditions. Maintain up-to-date patient records and
ensure compliance with health and legal requirements. Strong
clinical skills with a focus on hepatology and internal medicine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with
medical software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification. Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) Preferred: Certification in Gastroenterology Nursing (CGRN)
or similar.
