Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist
Traveler to join our nonprofit health care system, known for
delivering patient-centered care across multiple hospitals and
outpatient facilities in Colorado. In this role, you will be
responsible for providing expert MRI services, adapting to
different clinical environments, and ensuring the highest standards
of patient care and safety. This position offers a unique
opportunity to explore diverse clinical settings while maintaining
a focus on technological proficiency and compassionate patient
interaction. Operate MRI equipment to produce quality images of
designated parts of the body as per physician's orders. Assess
patients' understanding of the process and answer any questions to
ensure comfort and safety. Adjust equipment and patient position to
capture the correct area and detail. Follow strict procedures to
correctly identify patients before administering MRI scans.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality
guidelines. Travel between different UCHealth facilities to perform
assigned duties. Proficiency in using various MRI machines and
diagnostic imaging equipment. Strong attention to detail and
ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare
team. Ability to adapt to new environments and teams quickly.
