UCHealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician to join our dynamic team in Colorado. As part of our nonprofit health system, you will play a crucial role in providing patient-centered care using state-of-the-art technology across our hospitals and outpatient facilities. In this position, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations that are crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency in radiography along with a commitment to patient care and safety. Prepare patients and operate imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic procedures Explain imaging procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety Positioning patients and equipment precisely to capture accurate images Follow physicians' orders and adhere to radiologic protocols Maintain patient records and manage imaging data Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to evaluate image quality and provide optimal patient care Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff Perform routine maintenance checks on radiological equipment Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid radiography state licensure
