Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room Float Pool at our
Colorado-based healthcare facilities. This role is pivotal in
maintaining high standards of care and efficiency in various
operating rooms across our hospitals and outpatient centers. As a
Float Pool RN, you will have the unique opportunity to work across
multiple surgical disciplines, supporting and enhancing patient
care while gaining diverse experience in a variety of surgical
settings. You will be part of a nonprofit health system known for
its commitment to patient-centered care and an innovative approach
to health and wellness. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse
range of surgical procedures. Adjust nursing care plans as needed
to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
Participate in pre- and post-operative assessments and assist in
the development of treatment plans. Educate patients and families
on post-operative care and health maintenance. Ensure compliance
with all healthcare regulations and maintaining strict
confidentiality. Strong surgical nursing skills and thorough
understanding of surgical operations and equipment. Excellent
adaptability to varying surgical environments and teams. Ability to
handle stress and make quick decisions under pressure. Superior
communication skills, adept in handling patient and family
interactions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Colorado. BLS Certification from the American Heart
Association or equivalent.
