Job Description:
Job Title: Travel Anesthesia Technologist – 12H Days (CVOR/Main
OR) Location: Aurora, CO Contract Length: 12 Weeks | Start:
07/22/2025 – End: 10/18/2025 Shift: 12-Hour Days | 6:00 AM – 6:30
PM | 36 hrs/week Key Responsibilities: Assist anesthesia providers
in clinical settings by preparing and maintaining equipment and
supplies. Operate and troubleshoot anesthesia-related devices.
Support in procedures within the CVOR, and float to Main OR as
needed. Maintain appropriate inventory and ensure readiness of
anesthesia carts and rooms. Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and
ancillary teams to promote a safe and effective environment for
patient care. Comply with safety protocols, infection control
standards, and facility policies. Schedule Requirements: Must be
available for up to 2 full weekends per month (Friday 6:30 PM
through Monday 6:00 AM). On-call duties : Up to 2 nights per week
(Monday–Friday, 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM). Float Requirement : Must be
willing to float between CVOR and Main OR based on departmental
needs. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR and Cath Lab experience . BLS
certification required ; ACLS preferred. Prior travel experience
preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome. Additional
Information: No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during the first
two weeks of assignment. COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations
required (exemptions accepted with proper documentation). Must be
willing to float within 35 miles if needed to meet guaranteed
hours.
