Description Location:UCHealth Grandview Hospital, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department:Orthopedic-Centered with 3 ORs FTE:Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift:Days 4x10 Pay:$44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles 13 week assignments available - extension options Minimum Requirements: - Surgical Technologist program - State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration - 1-year experience - BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date At UCHealth, We Improve Lives Picture yourself on a dynamic team improving lives in the following way(s): - Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. - Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. - Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. - Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
