A Front Row Seat to InnovationPosition Purpose- The Neonatal Nurse
Practitioner (NNP) provides expert Family-Centered Care across the
wellness-illness continuum, providing primary, acute, chronic and
critical care to infants and toddlers up to age 2 years. In
collaboration with other health care providers the NNP will provide
initial, ongoing and comprehensive care, including taking complete
histories; providing physical examinations and diagnosing, treating
and managing patients with acute and chronic illnesses and
diseases. This includes ordering, performing, supervising, and
interpreting laboratory and imaging studies; prescribing medication
and durable medical equipment; and making appropriate referrals for
patients and families. In addition, NNP care also includes health
promotion, disease prevention, health education, and counseling.
The NNP will function as a leader within nursing and
inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual
respect, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient
care. Identifies and demonstrates incorporation of best current
evidence with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences and
values for delivery of optimal health care at the unit or
organization level. *This position will support various level II
NICUs throughout the group based on need. These NICUs include
Medical Center of the Rockies, Boulder Community, and
Greeley.*Salary Range: $130,499.55 to $195,749.32 annually (based
on 1.0 FTE)Eligible Incentives: This position is eligible for
relocation benefits (100 mi. or greater)- benefit amount based on
relocation region.Hours per week: 1.0 and flex FTEs available
depending on level of relevant experience and candidate desire.
Must work 20 hours/week to be eligible for benefits.Shift: 24-hour
shifts with Neonatologist or Pediatrician call coverage Make an
