Description: Supports corrective Action Boards with suppliers, lead
escape management activities and validate root Cause and Corrective
Actions. * Receiving Inspection and/or Production Inspection /
Audits. * Inspects manufactured products, purchased samples,
materials and parts, control samples, processes, or test data for
conformity to blueprints, specifications and standards. * Inspects
a variety of units using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g.
micrometers, gauges and calipers) with proper inspection
techniques. * Make decisions regarding product acceptance per
product documentation and company workmanship criteria. * Document
inspection activities on appropriate inspection records. * Maintain
inspection records in an organized manner. * Document product
discrepancies per company procedures. * Reads, interprets and
utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other
documentation. * Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
* Completes First Article Inspection (FAI) forms to ensure
compliance with requirements, while inspecting FAI units. * Capable
of supporting multiple product lines and/or commodities. * Answer
quality & inspection questions. * Acquire applicable
skill/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings as required.
* Ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs. *
May perform other job duties as required and be available for
overtime, as needed Job Qualifications: * HS diploma. In the
absence of a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of relevant experience is
required. * Must be able to pass an eye exam with or without
glasses along with a color test. * US Citizen candidates only.
Preferred Job Qualifications: * Be proficient in blueprint reading
/ GD&T and able to explain to others * Familiarity with AS9102,
First Article Inspection & Final Inspection processes * Ability to
work independently with minimal supervision * Basic computer skills
in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases * SAP experience
and NDT knowledge a plus * Accuracy and attention to detail is
highly important * Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully
with a wide variety of internal and external customers and support
groups * Organizational skills with the ability to work under
