A special education paraprofessional position is available in Littleton, CO, offering a contract assignment through 5/22/26 with an immediate start date. This role involves supporting students in an elementary school setting within a special education classroom, with a focus on candidates who have at least one full year of experience in SPED classrooms. Experience working with significant or severe caseloads is strongly preferred. Responsibilities: Provide direct assistance to students in a special education classroom. Support with toileting and diapering as necessary. Adapt to flexible assignments, including potential reassignment to different school sites or working with varied age groups. Maintain punctuality, arriving by 7:40 AM for elementary assignments. Complete required fingerprinting immediately after offer acceptance, adhering to district standards. Ensure reliable transportation to the work site. Qualifications: Minimum one year of special education classroom experience. Preferred experience with significant/severe caseloads. Ability to assist with personal care routines such as toileting and diapering. Must be able to report on time and be flexible with assignment changes. Reliable transportation is a must; public transit or ride services are not acceptable. Candidates must have two completed Professional RefAssured references in handapplications without these references will not be considered. Location: Littleton, CO (current candidate location must be provided). This opportunity offers 36.25 hours per week at an elementary school.
