Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available in the Denver, CO area to provide physical therapy services for a K-12 school setting. This role involves leave coverage from early April to late May, offering full-time hours during this period. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse PreK through high school population. Manage an itinerant caseload across six sites, serving approximately 55 students. Provide physical therapy assistance (PTA) support at the three largest schools. Support students with physical and multiple disabilities ranging from mild to severe. Collaborate on Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation. Utilize pediatric mobility equipment to enhance student mobility and participation. Qualifications: Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification. Prior experience working in Colorado schools. Strong knowledge of IEP writing and pediatric mobility equipment. Ability to work across multiple school sites in an itinerant role. Location: Denver, Colorado metro area Duration: Contract for current school year leave coverage (approximately April 6 to May 22) Setting: K-12 public school environment This opportunity requires a motivated physical therapist with specialized skills in pediatric therapy within schools.
