Position Summary: ISI is seeking a full-time onsite Construction
Inspector (Technical Inspector) to support the Air National Guard
at Buckley Space Force Base, CO. The Construction Inspector will
provide construction inspection, observation, and reporting
services for ongoing construction projects. This role supports the
Government by monitoring contractor performance, ensuring
compliance with contract requirements, and coordinating
construction activities within active and restricted military
environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily construction
inspections and document contractor activities Monitor contractor
compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes and
standards Identify and document deficiencies, non-compliance
issues, and safety concerns Prepare daily reports and maintain
construction logs and documentation Track construction progress and
support schedule monitoring activities Coordinate with contractors,
COR, and installation personnel to support project execution
Support oversight and coordination of construction activities in
restricted or controlled areas Serve as a communication liaison
between contractors and Government representatives Review
construction activities for adherence to UFC, NFPA, ASTM, ACI, IBC,
NEC, and other applicable standards Assist in resolving field
issues and escalating concerns to the Government as needed Support
special project coordination efforts, including logistics and
contractor access requirements Minimum Requirements Minimum five
(5) years of experience in construction inspection, construction
management, or a related field Within this experience, demonstrated
working knowledge of applicable construction management
regulations, codes, and standards, including a combination of the
following: Federal, DoD, Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and
State construction management processes and procedures Unified
Facilities Criteria (UFC) or similar federal design and
construction standards Engineering technical orders, instructions,
or agency standard operating procedures Safety procedures
applicable to construction environments Knowledge of local, state,
and federal building codes Must be a U.S. Citizen Ability to
communicate effectively with contractors, Government personnel, and
stakeholder Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security
clearance Ability to work full-time onsite at Buckley Space Force
Base, CO and travel to nearby installations as required
Demonstrated familiarity with industry codes and standards,
including: National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) American
Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) American Concrete
Institute (ACI) International Building Code (IBC) National
Electrical Code (NEC) Life Safety Code Experience monitoring
construction contractor performance and compliance with contract
documents Experience performing field inspections and preparing
daily reports and documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Office
and standard reporting tools Preferred Requirements Experience
supporting DoD or Air Force construction projects Experience
working in secure or restricted environments Experience supporting
airfield or infrastructure-related construction projects
Familiarity with Government construction management and inspection
processes Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in active
construction environments Physical Requirements The physical
demands required of this position described here are of those that
must be met by the selected employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job daily. Reasonable accommodations

20-30 pounds. Must be able to climb, erect and maintain balance on
a 30-40 pound ladder. Must be able to remain in a stationary
computer position for extended periods of time. Must be able to
walk up to 3 miles per day between buildings. Must be able to stand
for extended periods Must be willing to work in external
environments of rain, high heat and significant cold. Must be able
navigate active construction sites containing uneven ground,
debris, and active construction hazards such as sharp objects,
electrical hazards, and potential fall hazards. Must be able to
occasionally go into confined spaces and crawl Work Schedule and
Environment Full-time onsite at Buckley Space Force Base, CO, with
support to nearby installations as required.
