AP Accountant Our client, a dynamic and growing company in the hospitality industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-sufficient AP Accountant to support a high-volume, multi-entity accounts payable operation during a major technology transition. This is a critical role, with the AP Accountant managing invoice entry and vendor clean-up efforts across 40 properties. Key Responsibilities: The AP Accountant will focus on: Invoice Processing (80%) Enter and verify 50 invoices daily using Coupa and Sage. Review POs and ensure accurate data flows from procurement to accounting. Perform weekly check runs and print/mail up to 500 checks. Upload formatted invoice files from OneSource and validate all data prior to vendor submission. Vendor Clean-Up & Maintenance (20%) Clean up a failed vendor data migration. Perform vendor lookups, reconciliations, and maintain accurate vendor profiles. Set up new vendors and complete credit applications and other forms from scratch. Weekly Workflow Overview: Monday: Review AP inbox; begin daily invoice entries. Tuesday: Format and validate OneSource files. Wednesday: Execute weekly check runs. Thursday: Print and mail checks. Friday: Continue data entry, clean-up, and special projects as needed. Qualifications: Prior experience as an AP Accountant or in a high-volume AP environment. Familiarity with Sage and invoice automation tools such as Coupa is a plus. Ability to enter data quickly and accurately. Beginner-level Excel skills (populate and manage spreadsheets). Strong organizational skills and a high level of accountability. Ideal AP Accountant Candidate Traits: You understand that AP is the foundation of the P&L.
