What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Full-Cycle AP Invoice Processing (60%) As an AP Specialist, you'll be responsible for processing a high volume of utility invoices. You'll index, route for approval, and prepare batches. Weekly Check Runs & Payments (25%) Every Monday and Wednesday, you'll execute check runs as an integral part of the AP process. The AP Specialist is responsible for ensuring payments are processed on time, including ACH, checks, and wires. Your strong communication skills will be essential in maintaining vendor relationships and addressing inquiries. GL Support & Research (15%) Your role as an AP Specialist will also involve performing light GL research, coding accuracy, and assisting with process improvements. You'll help ensure that all transactions are properly tracked, and you'll support the AP Manager with any discrepancies that may arise.
